Badger Trust West Sussex, formerly the West Sussex Badger Protection Group, aims to promote the understanding, study and protection of badgers across our county. We are affiliated to the Badger Trust - the nationwide charitable organisation which campaigns to protect badgers across the UK.

West Sussex
Several badger protection groups operate in the region. BTWS covers West Sussex from the border with Hampshire up to a north-south vertical line that starts in the Littlehampton area with the A29 as shown on the map below. To the east, which is still West Sussex, incorporating Horsham, Storrington, Worthing, East Grinstead and Burgess HIll is covered by Badger Trust Sussex (formerly Mid Sussex Badger Protection Group).
